Like a previous poster had said I wish there were more volume adjustments so I could turn it down a little, but it's not that loud in the first place so it's not a big deal. She doesn't like to stay in it for too long, but it keeps her entertained long enough for me to get a shower. Baby loves this bouncer. She likes to watch the waterfall and grab the attached toys. I think if I had bought one without the lights and music she woundn't have stayed content for as long so I highly recommend this bouncer.
My son has used this the past month (he is 2 months old) and I don't know what we'd do without it. It actually keeps him entertained for 15-20 minutes, he's not grabbing at the toys too much yet, but he'll stare at it with huge eyes, and will get his arms and legs moving.
I have not had any of the vibrating issues that were not caused by my own human error - didn't have the activity bar in correctly, had something lying against the seat, ect. You can easily turn off the sound because the music does get annoying. She loves to play with the toys. This one gives her hours of entertainment (not consecutively, but she will go about an hour in it). My daughter has two bouncy chairs. I decided I should post a review after I read some of the negative posts. The other chair does absolutely nothing for her. They are in perfrect position for her hands to touch.
She can't quite sit up yet so high chair will come soon but in the interim, this is GREAT. This is a neat little seat but we love it even more because we are using it to feed our 6 month old. :)
One stays at Grandma's so DS can be entertained there and at home. they do hang a little low when they are newborns, but as my son has grown, the seat has sunk down so he can actually play with the monkey and the bird.
I used one of the ones we received for his car seat until he was strong enough to hold himself upright. I do wish that I had read some of these reviews before I dissasembled my first toy bar to "fix" the clicking frog.
He loves the waterfall with the lights and he talks to the swinging monkey and peek-a-boo frog. This bouncer (and the entire set) has been great because they visually stimulating and active for my son's growing mind. The ONLY thing I wish FP would have added would be an infant head support for when he was a newborn.
I have to say I love the Rainforest bouncer so much, I actually purchased 2 of them. Of everyone's complaint that the toys hang too low.
WD-40 has fixed the second toy bar so no more problem.
